General

This is a static portfolio website. It runs no contact forms, sets no cookies for analytics or advertising, and uses no tracking services. Fonts are served locally from this server; no connection to Google Fonts or other external font services takes place.

Hosting and server log files

The website is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (San Francisco, USA). When pages are requested, the host processes technically necessary data (in particular IP address, date and time of access, page requested, browser type) in server log files in order to deliver the website and ensure secure operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is not merged with other data sources.

Local storage

The chosen language (German or English) is stored only locally in your browser (localStorage entry “afshari-portfolio-lang”). This information does not leave your device and is not transmitted to the server. It can be deleted at any time via your browser settings.

The website links to external services, including LinkedIn. When following these links, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
